dailycaller.com President Joe Biden and first lady Jill Biden published their 2022 federal income tax return Tuesday, reporting a joint federal adjusted gross income of $579,514, the White House said in a statement.
The couple paid $169,820 in combined federal, Delaware and Virginia income taxes, bringing their effective federal income tax rate to 23.8%, the statement reads.
The president receives an annual salary of $400,000.
The president and the first lady also contributed $20,180 to 20 different charities. Their largest reported contribution, $5,000, went to the Beau Biden Foundation, which is a public charity dedicated to ensuring children are free from abuse.
