Iâm not going to get into naming names here because that can be a distraction, leading you go off on a tangent trying to instantaneously defend some particular politician whom you consider to be the exception to the rule. There are admittedly a very small handful for whom the bell has not yet tolled. Whenever you set anyone up on a pedestal as a paragon of virtue, youâre setting yourself up for a fall and a bitter disappointment when they prove that they were just human after all.

Alas, Atlas groans, no longer able to bear the weight of the world on his shoulders. But as expected, short-attention-span social media moves on to the next topic du jour.
