Bill Clinton raising eyebrows with message to socialist NYC mayoral candidate

Former President Bill Clinton raised eyebrows with his reaction to New York City’s Democratic mayoral primary.

Clinton posted a congratulatory message to state Assemblymember Zohran Mamdani after the democratic socialist appeared to clinch the nomination on Wednesday. His comments got the attention of Tesla CEO Elon Musk and many others.

“Congratulations @ZohranKMamdani on your victory in yesterday’s primary election and a well-run campaign. I’m wishing you much success in November and beyond as you work to bring New Yorkers together to tackle the city’s challenges and shape a stronger, fairer future,” the 42nd president posted on X.
