Black Lives Matter activist, mother of dead gang banger, declares war on ‘filthy, disgusting animal cops’

By LET

PORTLAND, OR – In a new disturbing video, a Black Lives Matter protester, Letha Winston, voices her displeasure with law enforcement. If that is not bad enough, she declares war on the police officers in the city.

This woman is the mother of Patrick Kimmons, who police shot and killed as he ran towards them with a gun after he shot two other people in 2018.

However, she refuses to believe the truth of what happened – instead stating that police officers shot Kimmons, a documented gang member, in cold blood.

Winston truly hates police officers and she calls for justice.

Interestingly enough, she wants that justice not for the two men her son shot – but she instead demands the officers involved be arrested for murder.

This, after a grand jury already determined, based on video, witness, and autopsy evidence, that the shooting was justified self-defense. In her calling for justice, she declares that there is a war going on against police officers and she will do anything necessary to see that the officers face her kind of justice.

Winston told the cheering crowd:

“This is a war, guys…We’re getting ready to get armored up around here. I will continue with my mission by any means necessary…by any means necessary.”

Winston then spoke as if she was talking to a police officer, saying:

“I know you got a gun, but so do I…Go ahead and shoot me -I’m shooting back. We’re here to take our streets back.”

In other portions of the video, as seen on Twitter, Winston says:

“Black lives matter because black African Americans is the most to be murdered,” alluding that officers ‘murder them.’ She then insinuates that officers only pull over black drivers because they are black, and whatever other reason they say is a lie.

So, to fact check Winston, as LET has several times with these claims, we go to the Washington Post Fatal Force database.

They have every police involved death listed from 2015 through 2019. Bear in mind that there are no circumstances listed which give any idea as to why the death happened, but, if you do a breakdown by race, it becomes clear either Winston is lying or has been significantly lied to.

In all, since 2015, 5,552 people have been killed by police in the United States, justifiably or not. Of that overall number, 2,518 white people were killed compared to 1,314 black people, the remainder is a breakdown of other races.

What that simply means is that there is no statistical, mathematical, factual way that anyone can tell you that police officers kill black people more than anyone other race.

Despite facts, Winston carries on her tirade, saying that officers who are involved in shootings, regardless of the situation should die. She said:

“They need to hang you high…they need to send you to the electric chair and let you fry like a piece of burnt bacon.”

She then took time to specifically speak about the Minnesota officers involved in the death of George Floyd. She said,:

“Your mother’s umbilical cord should have wrapped around your neck and choked you just the way you choked George Floyd, you filthy animal…..It should have wrapped around your neck so many times to where you yelled, ‘I can’t not breathe!”

Of course, most of us all know that really means that you can breathe, but maybe she did not know that.

The sad truth behind this are that there were people there watching this disgrace and cheering her on. People who agree that the city should be burned down, and officers should die. That two officers who clearly defended themselves should be sent to the electric chair and fried like a piece of bacon.

Although, that should not surprise us after the endless rioting that has come out of Portland every night since May.

Speaking of which, it’s worthy pointing out that the evening of August 18th marked 83rd consecutive night of protests and riots within Portland. And this time, we’re examining another instance of would-be arsonists trying to burn down a building inside of the city.

The latest target from the rioters in Portland was the Multnomah Building, a government office located off of Hawthorne Blvd. The Multnomah County Sheriff’s Office shared a video online where you can see the fire burning inside of the building, with people chanting in the background:

“What did you see? Didn’t see shit!”

But don’t be surprised if you see outlets calling this just another “peaceful protest”.

Of course, Portland Police rightfully declared the event a riot and at least a couple of arrests have been confirmed so far.

The crowd was said to have started gathering at Colonel Park in southeast Portland at approximately 8:00 p.m. on the evening of the 18th. Roughly an hour after that gathering, about 200 people were said to have marched toward the Multnomah Building chanting the likes of “say her name – Brionna Taylor”.

I’m not sure of the Portland rioters are aware of this…but the shooting of Brionna Taylor happened in Louisville, Kentucky. That’s 2,300 miles away from Portland and has zero to do with Portland Police.

That’s like demanding justice outside of an Arizona McDonald’s because a Burger King in Florida got someone’s order wrong.

After over 80 nights of riots and violent protests, the recipe is always the same.

Those intent on causing havoc start a gathering in a public place (usually a park).

During said congregation, or perhaps prior to, a plan is hatched to target an area.

The crowd marches en masse to the area.

“Peaceful” protesters afford cover to the miscreants, enabling their destructive crimes and assaults against police.

Police declare a riot and disperse the crowd, which requires force.

Then the “protesters” claim that police were bad and that they were just engaging in a lawful protest.

This is what makes combating the rioters so difficult – because the initial elements of creating a formation to allow riotous acts is something that cannot be stopped legally by police.

The protests that turned into riots that started on the evening of August 15th and continued to the early morning hours of the 16th resulted in more than the typical vandalism, assaults and other criminal acts expected during riots.

This riot in particular also resulted in over sixty 911 calls not getting an expedient response, for hours in some cases, because police were occupied with hundreds of rioters.

At approximately midnight on the 16th, the protest that saw hundreds blocking traffic for hours and committing acts of vandalism and assault was deemed to be a riot by Portland Police.

Most of the crowd has positioned themselves outside of the Penumbra Kelly Building, which is a city-owned building used by the PPB and other officials.

It took nearly three hours after police declared that the protest was a riot before any semblance of order was restored.

Security cameras at the Penumbra Kelly Building were reportedly spray-painted over, rocks were hurled at police vehicles in the parking lot of the building and officers were also assaulted with rocks and glass bottles.

Reportedly two officers were hospitalized from the riot. According to a press release from the PPB, the following was stated about the injured officers:

“Portland Fire & Rescue treated two Portland Police members injured by rocks thrown by individuals in the crowd. Both of them went to the hospital for further treatment. One of the rocks weighed 9.5 pounds and was thrown by a person in group of people wearing “press” as the officer prepared to ride away on a truck.”

That same press release from the PPB also stated that 11 people were arrested for various acts from the rioting that took place between the 15th and the 16th.

Most of those arrested carried charges such as assault on a police officer, riot, criminal mischief, resisting arrest and numerous other charges typically seen levied during arrests at riots.

When making mention of the emergency calls that were unable to be tended to immediately, the PPB’s statement on that matter was as follows:

“Over 60 calls for police service were holding around the city. Some had been holding for the length of the events described here. Call types ranged from theft, vandalism, suspicious activity, hazards, hit and run, burglary, violation of restraining order, alarms, stolen cars, harassment and many others.”

Let that sink in.

Because of adults that decided they wanted to continue their violent and destructive riots and protesting, police were preoccupied with the criminal acts of the crowd so much so that people being victimized elsewhere in the city couldn’t be tended to by authorities.

And you can bet your bottom dollar that criminals are loving the riots – because it affords them the perfect cover to commit whatever ill-deeds they so desire. It’s the exact reason why people only see looting when a riot is happening…because the criminal element understands that police have their hands full.

PORTLAND, OR– It was just five months ago, that police were among the many essential workers that everyone thanked and praised. “Heroes without capes” was a common term used to describe our men and women in blue.

These heroes went to work day after day, risking not just their lives, but their health this time, while the rest of the country quarantined for their safety.

When taking a look at the current anti-police sentiment taking place in this country, it is hard to believe that it was just a mere five months ago.

One incident, an incident that was only shown in a bias way, changed the perception of police from being hero’s to villains instantly. That incident was the death of George Floyd.

By now it is no secret that media outlets are only reporting one side of the violence raging day and night across this country. Some major figure heads, such as US Attorney General William Barr, are beginning to speak the truth about what is actually taking place, but many still do not want to hear it.

Despite the fact that it is not being broadcast across news stations, that does not mean there is no documentation of it. Many have taken pictures of the destruction and the aftermath, and those pictures paint a story all of their own.

The reoccurring theme to many of these pictures is a pure hatred for police.

Picture after picture shows repeated phrases such as “kill call cops”, “ACAB”, and an overall reference to cops as “pigs”.

“Kill all cops”, a phrase that is used so lightly by those who spray painted the words, but yet, no one has stopped to consider the husband’s, wives, father’s, mother’s, son’s, and daughter’s that make up those “cops”.

No one is reporting how all of theses degrading words and slogans being used to describe cops are not acceptable. If the phrase “kill all BLM protesters” began appearing, would that get nation wide recognition? Is that something that would spark anger in the hearts of Americans?

If you take a look past the words, you see the destruction the city has faced.

All of that spray paint covers businesses and offices that are the locations of people jobs, their livelihoods.

Boarded up windows and doors of buildings that needed to be abandoned due to the destruction. These are the realities the city sees when the sun comes up and the rioters disperse for several hours, only to return later that day to repeat the same actions.

What no one is reporting is the jobs that have been lost, in an already suffering economy, due to the fact that those buildings needed to be shut down.

No one is reporting the reality that one day, when things do begin to settle, someone will have to clean every once of that paint, and replace the glass of those windows and doors, costing people thousands of dollars, just to restore what was stolen from them, in the name of justice.

One person at least, had the sense to focus on the real issue at hand. In the picture above, someone decided to change the normal “Fuck cops” slogan into the real issue, which is “fuck racism”.

The issue that should be at the forefront of change, the issue that I believe was the original message trying to be conveyed. Instead, it has turned into an “anti-police”, “white privilege”, excuse to cause destruction, loot businesses, and assault people, all in the name of this “cause”. The “cause” that people have clearly lost sight of.

This hatred for police has gone beyond spray paint however. It has now gone into the full blown physical assaults of police, and the attempt at burning down the core of their support system, their unions.

Once these groups realized the words alone were not having their intended effect on police, they began trying to destroy them from the inside out. Burning union locations, signs, and calling for their destruction is now top on the agenda for many. What these rioters fail to realize is police unions are strong, loyal, and are not easily broken.

This is just a small glimpse of what is being seen from the ground in Portland. What the residents have to live with, and eventually clean up once this madness ends.

This is not the first time groups have attacked police, and created an “anti-police” sentiment across the country, and it will not be the last.

This will be a revolving occurrence for the rest of time. However, at the end of the day, the overall take away is the core of who police officers are can not be broken. At the end of the day, the unions stay strong, and the police stand tall.

Dear police officers – I’m sorry about America. And I’m sorry that so many people are afraid to tell you we support you.

It’s time for America to apologize to police.

It wasn’t long ago that I was at the grocery store. I watched as a little kid … no older than 5 or 6 … randomly punched another little kid who was just walking by.

The parent was mortified and extremely apologetic to the other mother.

“I’m so sorry,” she said. “I don’t know what’s wrong with my child sometimes.”

Yeah, that. That’s exactly how I feel about my fellow Americans.

So today, I want to offer an apology to police officers across the country.

I’m sorry that putting on that uniform and being a protector has somehow apparently turned you into a bad guy.

I’m sorry that after pulling people over for driving like idiots, you now have to address them AND the Facebook Live they’ve decided to broadcast you on.

I’m sorry about the disrespect. I remember when parents taught kids to respect the law. Then again, I remember when kids respected their parents as well.

I remember when wearing a badge made you admired. Now it makes you a target. I’m sorry.

I’m so sorry that you once were able to go into work and only have to worry about going home safe to your family … and now you have to worry that people will attack your families while you’re at work.

I’m sorry that social media now convicts you in the court of public opinion for simply doing your job, thanks to a seven-second cell phone clip that’s taken out of context and then replayed millions of times over in the media.

I’m sorry that you have to — even for a second — consider the implications of having to respond quickly and decisively, knowing that even saving a life could mean your career is over.

Internet trolls, keyboard warriors and self-proclaimed SJWs will use this article to talk about how terrible you are. For that, I’m sorry. You don’t deserve that.

I’m sorry that people talk about the American flag as a symbol of oppression, and I’m sorry that it’s not acceptable for you to publicly tell those people to kiss your American butt.

I’m sorry that you have to watch your fellow brothers and sisters take their own lives because of the stress and anxiety of the job … only to see people spit on their graves.

You have bureaucrats who have never stepped foot on your beat now telling you how to do your job and cutting your pay and your benefits and your resources so we can instead use that money for entitlement programs for people who don’t want to work for a living that you spend every day trying to save from themselves. I’m so sorry.

I’m sorry that you have idiots like the Governor of Connecticut who thank you for your service by cutting your jobs because he’s more concerned about giving raises to his friends then trying to actually balance a budget and keep the state safe.

I’m ashamed that we have people like the Mayor of New York who are more concerned with protesting President Donald Trump than he is concerned about honoring a murdered officer. I’m sick about it and I’m so sorry.

Everyone has an opinion over how you should do your job. How you should respond in a life-or-death situation. How you should or shouldn’t respond to a guy high on PCP beating his wife, a maniac wielding a knife, or a threat to other Americans. Thanks for your opinions, people. Perhaps keep them to yourselves and focus on finishing up that green tea latte and getting back to the classifieds. Officers — I’m sorry about them.

I’m sorry that you’re used as pawns … play pieces that can balance budgets and receive accolades when the lawmakers who use you need some positive PR from the media.

I’m sorry that you’re attacked for not being able to solve cold cases by the same people who, when being interviewed, will tell you “I didn’t see nothin’.” Why? Because it’s not cool to “be a snitch” — even when you can save the life of children or friends or family. But, you know, screw the police.

I’m sorry that when my company announced we were donating $1,000,000 in services to police officers to tell the stories behind the badges, we were attacked for supporting “pigs and killers.”

I’m sorry that when people show their faith in you and their appreciation for you that it somehow brings out the worst in people.

I’m sorry that when you’re wearing your uniform and walk past a kid, that kid’s mom or dad will tell their child “watch out or that cop will arrest you.” I’m sorry they create such fear that their child will run into the arms of a child molester or a murderer instead of a protector in blue. And I’m sorry that the parents are so focused teaching hate that they forget to teach their child the difference between right and wrong.

I’m sorry that you’re going to hesitate for even a second before sharing this article because you’re concerned about what people will think about you.

Dear officers, I’m sorry about America. I pray for the safety of you and your families. But I’m not the only one.

You are the protectors … but there are many of us who are very quietly your protectors. We’ve got your six, blue.

I can’t tell you how many times I’ve heard these exact words in the last couple of months:

“Are we living in the Twilight Zone?”

We are in some incredibly strange – and scary – times.

First, you’ve got the virus. Let’s start there.

I’m a dad of three little girls. And like many of you – there’s nothing in this world I want more than the safety and well-being of my entire family.

But I can’t help thinking that something stinks about the whole thing, and I know I’m not alone.

One month we’re being told masks don’t help. Then we’re being told we all have to wear them.

Then we’re told this thing flies in the air and stays on playgrounds. Then we’re told we don’t really know.

Then we’re told senior citizens are most vulnerable. Then we’re told nursing homes have to take people who have the virus. Then we’re told we can’t believe how many people are dying in nursing homes.

Then we’re told how many people died from it. Then we’re told we just assume they died from it. Then we’re told stop asking questions – just trust us. It’s bad.

Then we’re told you don’t need guns. Then we’re told we’re letting out tons and tons of inmates. Then we’re told don’t worry, we’re keeping an eye on them. Then we’re told whoops we sort of didn’t and they killed people and maybe they’ll go back to jail.

Then we’re told it’s not safe to go to church. Then we’re told the package store and the weed store are fine.

Then we’re told don’t worry – the government will take care of you. Then we’re told if you protest… you’ll be arrested.

Then we’re told it’s cool if you protest as long as it’s in the name of social justice and you throw rocks.

Then we’re told … well, you get the idea. Mask up, shut up, and don’t ask any more questions.

You look across America, and all of a sudden people with the “we love our first responders’ signs in the yard are screaming “abolish the police”. Then they’re pissed that the riots destroyed the package store and want to know why the hell the police didn’t stop them.

You have cops being assaulted with bottles of urine and bricks while police cars are lit on fire… then the cops get in trouble for using tear gas and non-lethal bullets to disperse crowds.

Then you have celebrities and Democrats creating “bail funds” for the criminals who burned down buildings and attacked police.

Then have you good cops defending their own lives and being charged with murder for doing so… at the same time that you have people screaming that cops aren’t trained and a push to defund the police so they can’t afford the training.

What the hell is happening to America? Have we entered the Twilight Zone?

And is my family safe?

Well – no. And no.

We’re not in the Twilight Zone. We’re in the culmination of 90 days of quarantine and nearly four years of Trump Derangement Syndrome.

We’re in the “what happens” when entitled millennials who were never told “no” by their parents decide they’re going to make an “autonomous zone” and Democrats protect them.

We’re at that point in society where we have hit a tipping point… and if we stay the Silent Majority, we’re going to lose America.

Run the scenario of what happens if we lose the police – whether it be through abolishing them, defunding them, or them all walking off the job (Atlanta, anyone?).

Here’s what happens.

The only people who can afford protection are those with money. Policing becomes privatized.

School shooters? There’s nobody to stop them, because insurance won’t protect the private security companies from engaging them.

Speeding tickets are handed out like candy, because it’s a revenue stream.

Low income minority communities get no protection. Middle class communities get very little protection. Total disaster.

Of course some families will be more safe than others – even those with less money. Why? Because they have guns. But of course in many liberal states, the second they use that gun to protect their family, their life is essentially over.

And so how exactly do we fix it? How do we stop America from going over the edge?

Well first – we need to check the emotion at the door and start having calm, rational conversations. Which is, of course, incredibly difficult to do because you are shamed for having a brain and using common sense if you aren’t toting the “Black Lives Matter” mantra.

And I get it – I do. I’ve got family members who are so radical, indoctrinated and anti-police right now that they are attending rallies and not talking to us. It’s sad. We need to understand that some people are just so desperate to be relevant and find attention that they’ve turned into sheep.

Next up… we need to understand what’s really happening in America.

And that’s where I want to rehash an old article that many of you might have missed… but desperately need to read.

We are in the fight of our lives. For our families. For our country. And for the very values that this country was founded upon.

Read on…

I, [name], do solemnly swear that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am about to enter. So help me God.

Mortality.

It’s something that you don’t really consider when you’re young. You can do anything. You’re invincible.

But as we grow older, we start considering that mortality.

It’s time we start considering the mortality of America.

I spend a substantial amount of time working in two different arenas – the world of law enforcement and the business world.

By day, I run a marketing agency. Among the areas we work in, we do extensive work in the firearms industry. My travels take me across the country – often to some of the most rural parts of America.

By night, I am the National Spokesman for Law Enforcement Today. I’m not a police officer. I was tapped because I can do one thing cops can’t do. I can give them a voice. I can run my mouth and no agency can fire me.

That travel that I referenced – both in the business world and supporting the LE world – has afforded me countless opportunities to work side by side with some of the greatest patriots in America.

My closest friends are either in law enforcement or either active or retired members of some of the most elite military forces in America.

And from our greatest warriors to our everyday citizens… I can tell you the underlying fear that so many are thinking about – and that’s the seemingly inevitable collapse of society if we don’t make some monumental changes.

As a Christian, I believe we are in the middle of some serious spiritual warfare. But you don’t have to be a Christian to understand that the very soul of America is under attack right now. And the rapid erosion of the Thin Blue Line has us sitting on a powder keg.

Historically, if you look at the collapse of some of the greatest empires in the world, it happened from within. Simply put, it raises the distinct danger that America won’t be conquered by foreign enemies … but rather from domestic ones.

When historians say that an empire fell, it means that the central state no longer exercised its broad power. That happens either because the state itself ceased to exist or because the state’s power was reduced as parts of the empire became independent of its control.

It typically doesn’t happen because of a single cause, but rather a long process. The main factors that historically lead to imperial collapse are:

  • Economic issues
  • Social and cultural issues
  • Environmental issues
  • Political issues

Now none of these factors are causes in and of themselves, but rather are ways to categorize causes.

What that means is you wouldn’t make a determination that Rome fell because of politics, but rather you’d explore political factors to understand the collapse. And in those issues are warning signs for us as Americans.

That brings me to the threat we face today.

Have you ever heard of something called the Cloward-Piven strategy? It’s not exactly something the mainstream media talks about… but it’s something you need to be aware of, because it’s what we’re facing in America today.

American sociologists and political activists Richard Cloward and Frances Fox Piven created the political strategy in 1966. The idea behind it is to overload the U.S. public welfare system to create a crisis that would lead to a replacement of the welfare system with a socialist system of “a guaranteed annual income and thus an end to poverty”.

If that doesn’t describe what we’re seeing from Democrats who are running for POTUS right now, I don’t know what does. But it’s a much bigger threat than you might realize. That’s because it’s so incredibly pervasive. It’s poisoning the very roots of America.

And it calls to mind the words of Jefferson:

“The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants. It is it’s natural manure.”

We are seeing groups here in America demanding open borders. Demanding the decriminalization of crossing into our country illegally.

At the same time, across our great country, we are seeing the CRIMINALIZATION of law enforcement.

It’s gotten so bad in states like the People’s Republic of California and Connecticut that we’re seeing the crash and burn of morale in law enforcement.

We’re seeing agencies desperate for officers, because as more and more retire (or count down the minutes to retirement), we see a deficit in the number of incoming recruits. After all, why would you want to live a life of service when you’re just going to be attacked for that service?

We see political activists masquerading as police chiefs. We see them working hand in hand with liberal politicians to not only attack the rights of law-abiding citizens, but also to destroy the morale of their own departments. We watch as they flat out disrespect the oath of office they took and put officers in no-win situations.

If I were to design a road map for how to collapse America, starting with law enforcement, here’s what it would look like.

Step one: Divide the protectors.

The refusal to allow rank and file patrol officers to cooperate with federal law enforcement to uphold the law. It’s a slap in the face to Americans and it’s a dereliction of duty. It’s also a clear and intentional move to create a divide between local, state and federal law enforcement. Divide the protectors… conquer a society.

Step two: Divide the supporters.

Force officers to choose between enforcing unconstitutional legislation like Red Flag laws, which deny citizens of their right to due process… and providing for their own family.

Make cops the bad guys. Take the people who have historically supported law enforcement and convince them that cops are now the enemy. Divide the supporters… conquer a society.

Step three: Remove their protection

Make cops afraid to be cops. Encourage disrespect on them like water bucket attacks. Don’t go after the criminals who attack them. When officers arrest criminals, let them back out on the street within hours because a liberal judge determined that the violent suspect with a lengthy criminal history isn’t actually a threat. Then threaten law enforcement officers that if they do their job, they’ll be investigated. That if they have to fight for their lives, they’ll end up being charged. Remove both their desire and their ability to police.

Step four: Flood America

By some estimates, one million people will make illegal entry into America this year.

There are fewer than 850,000 law enforcement officers in America. Do the math.

Now let criminals create havoc in society but instead of deporting them or actually cracking down on crime, let Americans know that the real problem is guns owned by law abiding citizens and pass legislation to take away their rights.

Step five: Destroy our homes

Own the media. Own Hollywood. Force feed Anti-American, socialist and communist policies into our homes and our education system. Convince our children that right is wrong and wrong is right. Take God out of society, destroy the family structure and teach everyone that the solution to your problems is in the form of pills, porn and the government.

Step Six: Bypass Congress for gun control

Have “private businesses” like Dicks and Walmart determine what you can and can’t buy. Allow Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Google, YouTube, LinkedIn and snap determine what you can see and what you can say… because it’s not a violation of the 1st Amendment if it’s done by private enterprise.

Step Seven: Use “social justice” to vilify love of country

Take every patriotic American who wants to see a better country for their children and call them a racist, etc. if you don’t agree with them. Then mass report them on social media to make sure their accounts are cancelled and their voices are shut down.

Then say you think they’re a threat and have a judge determine that combat veterans and our nation’s greatest warriors need to be disarmed because of post-traumatic stress. Then force officers to go to war with their own brothers and sisters.

The Collapse

It’s happening right in front of our eyes. And it’s starting with a full onslaught against our law enforcement officers in every way, shape and form.

Want to save America? We need to start by understanding the enemy. And sometimes the biggest threat that an empire faces is the enemy within.

In case you missed it… here’s a letter from the founder of Law Enforcement Today on what you need to know… and how LET is fighting back. We hope you’ll get in the fight.

Dear America:

When I founded Law Enforcement Today, I did it during a time where freedom of speech still existed.

A time when the ability to market and advertise your company wasn’t infringed by bigger companies that control the media space and decide who does and doesn’t get a voice based on their own political perspectives.

Sadly, that time has come to an end. Which is why our family at Law Enforcement Today has no choice but to step forward to fill that void and begin advocating for people and companies that are being actively silenced.

We’ve received word from some of our partners in the firearms and tactical industry that Google is actively shutting down advertising accounts of companies in the firearms accessories and tactical space.

Let’s be clear – we’re not talking about companies selling guns.

One such company, for example, is Inforce. They make weapon mounted lights that are used by departments like the FBI, NYPD, LAPD, Boston PD, CBP and others. Widely recognized as being both an LE and a consumer brand that helps make people safer… they are now shut down by Google.

They are a company spending six figures on advertising their products to consumers on the search engine, and now they’ve been shut down.

Here’s the message they received:

“Google, despite our ads having run without issue, now insists that weapon-mounted lights do not fall into the “increasing safety” clause of their violent content policy, therefore they cannot approve our ads. This is regardless of the ad copy wording because the landing page contains policy-violating content (the weapon-mounted light products). Google is having to crack down on what qualifies as a ‘safety-enhancing’ accessory as a result of the backlash they have received following recent shootings in the US.”

Bing, another search engine, also shut down the ad account because the flashlights have “a line related to weapons.”

Please understand that we’re using Inforce as just one example of our many partners who have come to us about this attack in the recent weeks since the Dayton and San Antonio shootings.

Inforce, like many other partners of ours, moved to Google advertising after their ad account was shut down on Facebook and Instagram. Although the platforms explicitly allow for the “advertising of weapon-mounted lights”, they still shut down the ad accounts as they move to remove all firearms and tactical related advertising from their platforms.

Think about this for a minute. Where do you do your searching for products and brands? If you’re like most Americans, it’s Google, Facebook and Instagram.

When the three biggest platforms decide it’s time to attack the industry and the Second Amendment, it has the potential to be catastrophic. It’s, in effect, gun control through censorship. And it’s an attack that’s going to continue to spread.

We at Law Enforcement Today want to make our stance very clear.

We strongly and firmly stand behind the Second Amendment, companies that keep civilians and law enforcement officers safe through products and innovation, and the men and women who serve and protect our communities and our country.

We are launching a new series of options to help our partners and other patriotic businesses to be able to connect with consumers. While we can’t replace Google, Bing or Facebook – we sure can provide options to ensure that these companies and our brothers and sisters have a voice.

We welcome with open arms companies in the firearms and tactical industries and are proud to offer them options to get their products to market. We’re also proud to stand beside organizations like NSSF, which runs SHOT Show, along with the Anteris Alliance, to make sure that the companies they represent have a massive voice.

Now to the consumer side of things.

We started noticing the problems a couple of years ago. Social media was scaling back the reach of content that it didn’t believe people should see.

Not that there was anything offensive about it. We’re talking about pro-police videos, stories about patriotic Americans and more.

And from our perspective, that created a huge problem. We have some of the greatest warriors in the world. Yet their voices and their stories were being buried.

The mainstream media, on the rare occasion that it would tell some of these stories, would give you only a piece of them. They’d cram as much as they could into a 90 second segment, slap their bias on it and that was it.

We needed to fix it. And so we are.

Law Enforcement Today (LET) is proud to announce the beta launch of LET Unity – a new home focused on bridging the gap between civilians and civil servants. We’ve merged with The Whiskey Patriots to massively expand content, rolling out hundreds of videos to members.

Many of those in our focus groups dubbed it the “Netflix of the law enforcement community”. But the truth is, it’s so much more.

And so, so much more.

The membership is less than the cost of two coffees a month, and those who sign up for an annual membership will get some surprise bonuses in the mail. We decided to charge a nominal fee so we could take all of the proceeds and reinvest them into capturing more of these stories.

On top of that, we’re opening up the platform to some well-known podcasters who are going to be joining the team with some incredible content soon.

We have a problem in society. Censorship has created an existential threat to democracy. But even worse is the risk we run that some of these incredible stories of patriotism, hope, faith and our Sheepdogs would be lost.

We’ve launched a series of content with Concerns of Police Survivors (C.O.P.S.) to share the stories of survivors.

We will also be dropping a weekly law enforcement focused newscast that addresses some of the most important topics in the country… and helps bridge the gap between those who serve and those whom they serve.

The beta platform is live and the apps for Apple, Android, Apple TV and Roku are up.

We hope you’ll join us in this journey, knowing that your membership is going to give a voice to those who have been silenced for so long.

If you are one of the many companies out there that’s being censored – or you’re worried about what’s to come – don’t hesitate to reach out today. I can be reached at [email protected]

We will not be silenced. You shouldn’t be either.

God bless you all, and God bless America.

Sincerely,

Captain Robert Greenberg
