During a preliminary hearing Wednesday for alleged Paul Pelosi attacker David DePape, prosecutors rolled out body camera footage of the hammer attack that unfolded during a reported Oct. 28 break-in at the posh Pacific Heights mansion that Paul shares with his wife, U.S. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi.

Reporters covering the hearing were able to hear the audio from the body cam footage, but couldn’t actually see the 15-second video clip because the TV monitor was facing a police officer on the witness stand, according to NBC News’s Twitter thread.

The body cam footage, along with a recording of the 911 call that was also played during the hearing, painted a chaotic and bloody scene that continued to reveal inconsistencies and raise more questions. The video covered the brief moment when police arrived at the mansion and saw DePape and Paul Pelosi struggling over a hammer.
