A study has been published by Osaka University that claims that with the power of Google’s proprietary artificial intelligence, they were able to use it to monitor brain waves and determine what music subjects were listening to.
The study, “Brain2Music: Reconstructing Music from Human Brain Activity,” claims that following in the scientist’s abstract:
The process of reconstructing experiences from human brain activity offers a unique lens into how the brain interprets and represents the world. In this paper, we introduce a method for reconstructing music from brain activity, captured using functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI).
