Forty-five Republicans in the Senate today voted NOT to dismiss Sen. Rand Paul’s procedural objection to impeachment, including leader Mitch McConnell. Only five GOP senators voted against Paul’s objection, and therefore FOR impeachment process to proceed.
The vote was on the grounds of whether or not it is an unconstitutional proceeding, considering that Trump is no longer in office, and other things even to include who will be presiding. Bet you can guess who voted to continue with the impeachment.
Yep, that’s correct.
Susan Collins, Lisa Murkowski, Pat Toomey, Ben Sasse, and Mitt Romney voted against Paul’s objection, against dismissing the impeachment.
With 50 Democrats obviously unanimous, this means Rand Paul’s motion is dismissed and the proceedings continue.
Here is what Sen. Paul said about impeachment.
Have Sasse and Romney and friends asked about Bernie Sanders inciting violence?
Nothing new here! These same RINO’s need removed from Office a.s.a.p. and censored now! How do you convict any one for a crime that was NOT committed? If this is their definition of “Justice” then I want non of it! Now that we know who they really are and who they represent, getting rid of them should be quite easy! They have to go back home sometime and face the people who voted to represent them…I believe they should all look for a new occupation!
