Senator Bob Menendez (D-NJ) was indicted Friday with federal bribery charges.
According to NBC News, documents filed in Manhattan federal court related to the indictment for Menendez and his wife became public Friday.
“The indictment alleges that from 2018 through mid-2022, Menendez and his wife, Nadine, received ‘hundreds of thousands of dollars’ in bribes and used the senator’s influence to enrich three businessmen from New Jersey and benefit the Egyptian government,” NBC News reports.
Menendez, who serves as the chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, faces his second indictment on corruption-related charges in 10 years…
