Governor Ron DeSantis was scheduled to speak Sunday at a fundraiser for Republican gubernatorial candidate Lee Zeldin in New York City.
The fundraiser cost donors $25,000-a-plate to hear the popular Florida governor speak in New York.
But Governor DeSantis pulled out of the event on Sunday due to an “unforeseen tragedy.”..
