A wildfire which broke out in northern Texas yesterday has doubled in size today, being fueled by the tall grass.
So far, the main three sections of this fire are:
- Smokehouse Creek Fire
- Grape Vine Creek Fire
- Windy Deuce Fire
Grape and Windy have been contained 20%, while Smokehouse is still at 0%.
Forced evacuations have occurred.
In Hemphill & Roberts, Canadian and Northeast of Amarillo roads haven blocked off.
I've never seen anything like this.
