President Trump has filed a $10 billion lawsuit against the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) for a doctored speech in its 2024 “Panorama” documentary.
According to Fox News, Trump sued the BBC for both defamation and a violation of Florida’s Deceptive and Unfair Trade Practices Act for $5 billion each, seeking $10 billion total.
“The Telegraph disclosed in November that Panorama spliced together parts of an address given by Mr Trump on Jan 6, 2021 before some of his supporters attacked the US Capitol building,” The Telegraph wrote.
“The edit omitted Mr. Trump’s calls for people to march ‘peacefully,’” the outlet added…
