The left had better hold off on those celebrations regarding that Texas redistricting decision. At least for now.
The United States Supreme Court has just weighed in and stayed a lower court order tossing the Texas redistricting maps that were passed over the summer, which potentially increased the Republicans’ chances of gaining more congressional seats in the Lone Star state.

Lawyers for Texas had asked the court earlier Friday to issue a stay and effectively let Texas return — at least for now — to the maps it passed over the summer, which redrew five Democratic House seats to make them more GOP-friendly…
