The WHO has just declared Monkeypox an international health emergency.
Yes, Monkeypox again.
They’re now referring to it as “MPox,” and the disease has been spreading throughout Africa since earlier this year.
This marks the second time in 3 years that a Monkeypox epidemic has been designated as a global emergency.

Last time Monkeypox, or “MPox,” was going around, it was transmitted sexually and affected mostly gay men.
However, this strain appears to spread differently and affects young children and women the most.
