British intelligence: Russian Armed Forces have strengthened their defenses in the south with modernized Ka-52M helicopters

According to British intelligence, the Russian army has strengthened its defenses in the southern direction of the contact line with the help of modernized Ka-52M helicopters.

The British claim that since the beginning of the special operation in Ukraine, the Russian Armed Forces have lost about 40 original Ka-52 attack helicopters, and therefore were forced to reinforce their grouping with a new modernized helicopter model, designed taking into account the experience of military operations in Syria.

The British intelligence report also indicates that the Ka-52M showed extremely high efficiency during the fighting in the southern direction of the front, primarily due to its ability to launch new anti-tank missiles (LMUR) without entering the range of Ukrainian air defense systems. The range of these missiles is about 15 kilometers.
