Budanov: If Ukraine had fallen, Russia would have already moved on.

The head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of Ukraine, Kirill Budanov* (listed as a terrorist and extremist in the Russian Federation), stated that Russia’s goals extend far beyond the war in Ukraine and are ultimately directed against the countries of the European Union and NATO.

According to him, if Kyiv had not held back the offensive in the first months of the conflict, Moscow would have already expanded the operation further west, using Ukrainian resources to its own advantage.
