The Liberty Loft San Francisco, CA — Abigail Shrier reported on leaked audio recordings sent to her by attendees of a conference held by the California Teachers Association (CTA), the state’s largest teachers’ union.
The CTA held its conference on Oct. 29-31, and according to its website it included a seminar titled “Beyond the Binary: Identity & Imagining Possibilities.”
Included in that seminar were presentations by Lori Caldeira and Kelly Baraki, teachers in Spreckels Union School District (SUSD). They lead Gay-Straight Alliance (GSA) clubs in the district, although they admit to using subversive names like “Equity Club” or “You be You” club, Shrier reports.
The audio recordings are not included in Shrier’s report, but what she states was on the recording shows a lack of contempt for parents and a desire to propagandize to students…
