You would never hear CBS’s Margaret Brennan demand Democrats move on from an old Trump scandal. Yet on Sunday’s Face the Nation, Brennan badgered former New Jersey governor and Republican presidential candidate Chris Christie for his party to move on from their investigation into how Hunter Biden was given a plea deal on tax fraud and gun application fraud charges. Christie quickly shot her down and explained to her why her suggestion is foolish and wishful thinking on her part.
Brennan turned to Christie and noted how Hunter Biden is set to “appear in court this week to plead guilty to two misdemeanor tax charges and will enter into an agreement that could avert conviction on a gun-related charge.”
