The Biden administration has made a number of controversial appointments to federal courts, appeals courts, and the Supreme Court.

Supreme Court nominee Ketanji Brown Jackson came under fire for her views on criminal justice reform and light sentencing for repeat offenders and people who committed sexual crimes.

Another Biden nominee who was put up to be on the 9th Circuit Appeals Court was later found to on the board of a Prison Abolition group.
