Maryland Congressman Jamie Raskin published a statement on October 25, 2022 saying that the United States’ continued military aid to Ukraine is of the essence due to Russia allegedly being anti-gay and transgender.
Raskin published this statement after the dissenting progressive faction of the Democratic Party, made up of 30 members, started calling for diplomacy to end the Russo-Ukrainian conflict.
In Raskin’s view, Russia is the embodiment of reactionary values. And any move to cut off aid to Ukraine in its conflict with Russia represents a tacit endorsement of Russia’s reactionary values…
