Connecticut Secretary of State Denise Merrill Implicated In Twitter Files Release

The mention of Connecticut Secretary of State Denise Merrill in the most recent Twitter files release has raised a lot of eyebrows.

Of course, Merrill was not the only state official emailing Twitter to limit the free speech of users in Connecticut.

CT Attorney General William Tong had also put pressure on Twitter and Facebook to stop people and groups from spreading “vaccine misinformation”.  He even suggested in a letter to Jack Dorsey and Mark Zuckerberg that it would take “widespread acceptance of these vaccines as safe and effective” in order to end the pandemic.

That letter was sent on March 24, 2021.

Two days later, CDC’s Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS) was updated to reveal 50,861 reports of injury related to covid vaccines, including 2,249 deaths, 4,824 hospitalizations, 8,287 urgent care visits, and 7,813 doctor office visits.
