‘Critical time for our nation’: Dan Bongino sworn in as No. 2 at the FBI

Former U.S. Secret Service agent and radio talk-show host Dan Bongino was sworn in Monday evening as deputy director for the FBI, serving under the leadership of Director Kash Patel.

“It is an honor to serve as Deputy Director for the Federal Bureau of Investigation at such a critical time for our nation,” Bongino said on X.

“The American people deserve a justice system that is transparent, accountable, and committed to the rule of law.
