Professional cornhole player missing both arms and legs accused of shooting and killing man, driving away

A quadruple amputee who plays cornhole professionally is facing murder charges after allegedly shooting a man to death and driving away during an argument in La Plata, Maryland on Sunday. 

The Charles County Sheriff’s Office said that 27-year-old Dayton James Webber fatally shot the front-seat passenger, identified as 27-year-old Bradrick Michael Wells, of Waldorf, in Webber’s vehicle during an argument. Webber allegedly requested that his two backseat passengers help him remove the body. They refused, got out of Webber’s vehicle, and flagged down the police at around 10:25 pm. Webber reportedly fled in the vehicle.

Two hours later, a resident in Charlotte Hall, Maryland called 911 to report a body in their yard. Officers responded to the scene and pronounced Wells dead. Authorities then obtained a warrant for Webber’s arrest. Webber’s car was later located in Charlottesville, Virginia, and Webber was found in a nearby hospital receiving medical treatment for an unspecified issue. He was arrested upon release from the hospital and charged as a fugitive from justice…
