Death Shot: Australia Funds The Creation Of A New MRNA Vaccine For Cattle, To Prevent The Spread Of Foot & Mouth Disease

Australian provinces are funding the rollout of a new mRNA vaccine that is designed for livestock that is specifically tailored to prevent the transmission of foot and mouth disease (FMD) and Lumpy Skin Disease.

In mid-July The WinePress reported on the fears that FMD – a highly transmissible and deadly disease that normally affects animals and livestock, especially cattle – could spread across Australia, per a reported outbreak of the disease primarily in Indonesia. The government and the media were quick to instill fear that if it began to spread the domestic and international famine it would create would be terrible indeed.
