Denison mother stops sexual assault

DENISON, Tex. (KXII) – A Denison mother saved her daughter from being sexually assaulted by a man who broke into their home Friday night.

Denison police say Dylan Clark broke into the home before 7 a.m.

They say he assaulted the woman, choking her, and attempted to sexually assault her.

Police say the woman’s mother came home during the attack and fought and detained Clark until officers arrived.

“In the backyard, the mom was holding the suspect waiting for us to get there and the officers took him into custody,” said Lt. Eppler with the Denison Police Department.

Clark was arrested for burglary of a habitation and intended sex offense. He is being held in the Grayson County Jail.
