The “happiest place on earth” takes a step forward toward supporting medical freedom with encouragement from Gov. Ron DeSantis, R-Fla., and his newest ban on vaccination mandates. The theme park amended its vaccination policy for employees to comply with Florida state law.
The move comes after Gov. DeSantis last week signed new legislation to immediately protect Floridian’s jobs by banning Covid vaccination as a requirement for employment.
In July, The Walt Disney Company announced that it would mandate Covid vaccines for all employees in the U.S. According to a report from WFLA 8, all salaried and non-union hourly employees working at “any site” in the United States had to be fully vaccinated, per an official statement from Disney:
