DNC Outlines New Voting Process Affecting Biden's Candidacy

The Democratic National Committee (DNC) is expected to move forward with the nomination of President Joe Biden and will soon hold a virtual roll call.

The committee met virtually on Friday and announced that the vote must occur between Aug. 1 and Aug. 7. The DNC leadership is is expected to set a final date for the vote.

A second committee meeting is scheduled to take place next week, before July 26. The rules of the virtual roll call will be established at the conference.
