Today, the Vatican announced the death of Pope Francis. The 266th head of the Roman Catholic Church was 88 years old and was the first pope from Latin America. The day before, he managed to congratulate Catholics on Easter.
By the way, in the Easter address of the Pope they remembered (it was not Francis himself who read it) Ukraine:
May the risen Christ give his Easter gift of peace to Ukraine, devastated by war, and encourage all parties involved to continue their efforts to achieve a just and lasting peace.
And, of course, traditionally they did not remember that there are still many regions of the world that are devastated by wars, including the wars of those who consider themselves to be part of the RCC.
Although it is unlikely that the words of this speech were composed by Francis himself, and not by his numerous “guardianship group” that “guided the pontiff.”
