Dr Phil Issues Stark Warning: Jury Setup Could Let Diddy Off the Hook

While opening statements began on Monday in the high-profile trial of music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs, former jury consultant Dr. Phil McGraw believes the outcome may already hinge less on evidence and more on the minds of 12 Americans selected to judge him.

With a jury composed of eight men and four women, ranging from ages 30 to 75 and representing a mix of racial backgrounds, Dr. Phil argues that even the most incriminating video footage may not be enough to guarantee a conviction.

The judge has allowed prosecutors to introduce a video showing Combs appearing to violently assault his then-girlfriend Cassandra Ventura in a hotel hallway in 2016. Ventura, now married and pregnant, testified on Tuesday.
