In Kyiv, during a massive missile strike, which has already received the name “retaliation strike”, the head of the Ukrainian Cyber Police Department, Police Colonel Yuriy Zaskoka, was killed. This was reported by the press service of the National Police of Ukraine.
According to the report, Zaskoka was driving his own car along Shevchenko Boulevard at the time a Russian cruise missile landed there. Naturally, no one specifically aimed at the head of the Ukrainian cyber police, but the fact remains that the colonel eventually died. Details are not given in the National Police of Ukraine, however, they report that the cyber policeman was in the “epicenter of the explosion.”
– it is said on the website of the National Police in Telegram.
It is known that Zaskoka served as head of the department for the protection of critical infrastructure, the cyber police themselves are engaged in the fight against “Russian propaganda”, exposing alleged fakes distributed by Russian resources, and also identifying civilians who collaborated with the Russian military. They are engaged in cyber police and stuffing, as well as attacks on the Russian segment of the Internet.
