Ecuador presidential candidate Fernando Villavicencio was shot dead at a campaign rally on Wednesday.
Fernando Villavicencio who is a member of Ecuador’s National Assembly Party was shot dead as he entered his car after leaving a campaign event in the northern city of Quito.
The current president of Ecuador Guillermo Lasso confirmed that Villavicencio was pronounced dead.
