Against the backdrop of the recent deterioration of relations between two Latin American states – Ecuador and Mexico, Ecuadorian President Daniel Noboa approached Mexican leader Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador with an offer to meet, dine and make peace.

The head of Ecuador said he was not angry with Mexico for breaking ties, noting that Mexico City was dissatisfied with Ecuador’s judicial system, which formed the basis of the disagreements between the two countries.
