The United States Department of Education, under President Donald Trump’s leadership, has abandoned all promotion of Pride Month and instead will focus on the anniversary of Title IX and protecting female sports and spaces.
In a post on X on Monday, the department wrote that “By prohibiting sex-based discrimination in federally funded programs, #TitleIX opened countless athletic & academic opportunities for women & girls across the country.”
“This month, we celebrate Title IX’s 53rd anniversary & will take more action to protect women’s hard-earned rights,” the post added…
