Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren said she plans to run for reelection to her seat in the upper chamber in 2024.

Joe Biden is running for reelection. I plan on helping him, and I plan on staying in the Senate,” Warren told WBZ on Sunday.

The Democrat first confirmed her intentions in an interview with Politico on Friday.

Warren’s announcement follows the recent release of her memoir, Persist, which chronicled her 2020 presidential election run and experiences as a woman in politics.

The senator first took office in 2013, flipping a seat held by Republican Sen. Scott Brown. In her 2018 reelection, Warren comfortably defeated GOP nominee Geoff Diehl.

Warren is the first female senator from Massachusetts.

She plans on staying in the Senate because nobody else will have her. There’s little demand, these days for a faded Pocahontas!
