redstate.com Many of us have heard in recent times the horror stories of Americans killed by dangerous illegal alien truckers on U.S. roads, and states across the country allowing thousands of unqualified drivers to take to our streets with freshly-minted CDLs (commercial driver’s licenses) – something that was front and center during part of the White House Cabinet meeting, hosted by President Trump and War Secretary Pete Hegseth, and opened to the media on Thursday.
As my colleague Bob Hoge wrote, Sec. Hegseth spoke during the team’s meet-up with the commander in chief, on U.S. foreign policy, the mission against Iran, and the peace process.
When it was his turn to give an update, Transportation (DoT) Secretary Sean Duffy told the president and his fellow Cabinet members about the very real dangers our first responders, including police officers, face from untrained illegals behind the wheel driving big rigs:
