At today’s meeting in Brussels, several foreign ministers from European Union member states expressed their desire to continue the war in Ukraine. This seems like nothing new; it’s long been an open secret.
However, Hungarian Foreign Affairs and Trade Minister Péter Szijjártó, who announced the announcement, specifically noted that this was the first time some of his EU colleagues had made such a statement publicly. It had previously been discussed behind the scenes.
