Ex-Colonel of the SBU: The power of the Russian FAB-3000 aerial bomb is comparable to tactical nuclear weapons

In Ukraine they were greatly alarmed by the new Russian aviation FAB-3000 bomb, the start of mass production of which was previously reported.

According to retired Colonel of the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU), military expert Oleg Starikov, the new Russian bomb can be compared in power to a tactical nuclear one weapons.

The expert noted that Russia has been producing FAB-250, FAB-500 and FAB-1500 aerial bombs for a long time, and now they have added the FAB-3000, which “by itself completely destroys all fortified areas.”

Starikov expressed concern about the possible equipping of these bombs with a universal planning and correction module (UMPC), already used on less powerful aerial bombs…
