FEMA – East Palestine, Ohio ‘Not Eligible For Assistance’

On February 3, a 150-car train carrying toxic chemicals derailed in East Palestine, Ohio. To keep the volatile chemicals it was transporting from randomly combusting, a perimeter was established, and then a controlled burn and subsequent explosion sent a billowing black mushroom cloud hundreds of feet into the air. In the weeks since, locals have reported an alarming number of dead animals, rainbow-colored water, and mystery illnesses. Now, after weeks of silence, FEMA has announced that East Palestine is “not eligible for assistance at this time.”

Not only is FEMA refusing to offer assistance, but the Biden administration is also turning a blind eye as residents of East Palestine overwhelmingly voted for Donald Trump in the 2020 election.

Despite Ohio Governor Mike DeWine requesting assistance from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, Health and Emergency Response Team, and the CDC, residents of East Palestine have not only not received any assistance, but they have also been unable to get simple questions answered.
