For the past several years, the Pentagon has been developing advanced self-loading grenade launchers. One of the participants in this program is FN America, LLC, the American subsidiary of Belgium’s Fabrique Nationale. Recently, it unveiled its new development, the MTL-30. This grenade launcher has already attracted the interest of the Army, which has ordered further development.
Project and contract
On October 1, 2025, FN America, LLC published an interesting newsShe first revealed the existence of the promising MTL-30 (Multi-purpose Tactical Launcher 30 mm) self-loading grenade launcher. She also reported on the initial successes of this project.
