Former elementary school teacher indicted for possessing nearly 6,000 images of child porn

Posted by: Amie Flanagan

BOSTON, MA – It’s a disgusting collection – that luckily was discovered by the right people.

Vincent Kiejzo, 33, is a former Milford second-grade teacher. He was indicted by a federal grand jury for possession of child pornography.

Kiejzo allegedly possessed nearly 6,000 images and videos of child pornography. The porn was stored within a thumb drive, according to the press release.

Kiejzo taught at Memorial Elementary School. This is in the Milford School District.  The school has not removed his classroom website for the current school year. They have sent an e-mail out to the parents, but have not made a formal public statement about the arrest.

The teachers have returned for professional development training according to the school district’s online calendar.

Kevin McIntyre, superintendent of Milford Public Schools, told the Milford Daily News:

“We don’t know a lot more. At this point, we know that he’s been arrested and charged, and that’s kind of where we’re at.”

Kiejzo had tweeted updates on the school yearfrom his professional account before being arrested.

A U.S. Homeland Security agent, federal and local law enforcement searched Kiejzo’s home just after 6 a.m. Kiejzo was home at the time.

The document stated that nearly 6,000 videos were discovered. Most of them included young children “engaged in sexually explicit conduct.” They were found on a thumb drive plugged into Kiejzo’s bedroom television.

The federal agent describes three extremely graphic and sexual videos. The first video was of an infant. Another one was of a child around 4 years old. Finally, a child about  11 years old was seen in one of the videos. Adults performed sexual acts in all of the videos.

Kiejzo tried to deny either viewing or possessing child pornography. He finally confessed that the videos were his.

According to his LinkedIn profile, Kiejzo has worked in the Milford system since 2008. He is the co-founder and president of Milford, Massachusetts, Foundation for Education. He was a pool supervisor and swimming lesson teacher at the Milford Community School Use Program for nearly twenty years.

The Milford Daily News has posted this on their Facebook page. It has garnered 150 reactions, 41 comments, and 484 shares. Most of the reactions showed disgust.

Innocent in nothing, he admitted the videos were his. Maximum time in jail, $$$ fine, supervision for life, and not to be anywhere near kids forever. Also, he needs to admit who was in this whole disgusting act with him and go after them too!”

So disgusting, I bet some kids in those pics are the same age as his students.”

Absolutely horrifying! Sick!

One person thought she knew him:

I’m pretty sure I went to high school with him. Just wow.

Then she realized that yes, she did.

Correction: I certainly did. I have no words.”

One person tried to remind everybody that by the law everyone is “innocent until proven guilty.” (unedited comment)

wait wait wait, this has ruined a good educator’s life in the past. We are not the jury! Let the police and the courts do their jobs. IN THIS COUNTRY, still, we are innocent until PROVEN guilty. this crime is reprehensible, but we must protect everybody’s rights especially when we only know what we’ve “heard.”

If convicted Kiejzo could face up to 20 years in prison, five years of probation or up to life, and a fine of up to $250,000.

United States Attorney Andrew E. Lelling and Michael Shea, Acting Special Agent in Charge of Homeland Security Investigations in Boston made the announcement. The Milford Police Department assisted with the investigation. Assistant U.S. Attorney Kristen Noto of Lelling’s Worcester Office is prosecuting the case.

This case was brought as part of Project Safe Childhood, a nationwide initiative launched in May 2006 by the Department of Justice to combat the growing epidemic of child sexual exploitation and abuse.

Project Safe Childhood is led by U.S. Attorney’s Offices and the Child Exploitation and Obscenity Section (CEOS), Project Safe Childhood marshals federal, state, and local resources to better locate, apprehend, and prosecute individuals who exploit children via the internet, as well as to identify and rescue victims.

It’s not the first disturbing story we’ve reported on the topic in the last few days:

RICHMOND, VA – Parents are supposed to protect their kids.  That’s what makes this story even more painful to report.

A federal jury in Virginia has ruled William Wellington H0oper, 53,  and conspired with Jennifer Hutchens, 53, of Gloucester to make child porn of Hutchen’s teenage daughter. Hutchens allegedly pimped her 15-year-old daughter for cash .

He’s been charged with conspiracy to produce child pornography, production of child pornography, and two counts coercion and enticement of a child according to the Mathew’s County Sheriff’s office.

Hooper allegedly lied and told the 15-year-old girl he would help her get into the modeling industry. He took many photos of the teen. Most were of her nude and a closeup of her genitals.

It started in April 2019 when Hooper texted the teen about helping her break into the modeling business. They were direct, and to the point. One text read:

“If she isn’t working then no clothes, no travel, no phone and no activities like movies.”

The Federal indictment revealed that Hooper gave Hutchens money to give to the girl as payment. This money was for taking sexually explicit photos on his yacht in. The girl received additional money to purchase clothes to wear in the explicit photos.

Hooper’s partner in this scheme, Jennifer Mae Hutchens, took photos of the girl, mostly nudes.

He encouraged Hutchens to demand 25 percent of what her daughter made. This was at a home in Gloucester. The photos were sent to Hooper over the internet. Hooper is  said to have paid the child’s mother hush money.

Hutchens brought the girl to the boat even after her daughter said something about Hooper’s tactics.

Hooper owned a yacht, and he was the owner of the Williams Wharf Oyster Company. LLC.

The indictment said the girl complained about the amount of money she received for the photos. Hooper responded:

“I can only pay you what they pay me.”

He told her that he could only get $60 for nude images that didn’t show her face. Later, he stated that he could get over a thousand dollars if he photographed her.

Hutchens, the girl’s mother, drove her to Mathews County where Hooper kept his yacht. The girl was under the guise that she would be there to “clean it.” This is Hooper took a lot of nude photos of her, and had her perform oral sex on him, according to the court documents.

The girl was paid $50. Allegedly, he raped her during this time.

The girl needed money for a school trip over the summer. Hooper knew it.

Hutchens said she was in a dominant-submissive relationship with Hooper. She said that Hooper wanted to train her daughter to be submissive as well. In a text he told her:

“She needs to earn her way and continue her submissive training.”

She recruited other minor girls to participate in the “teen modeling” ruse. He also got her daughter to recruit. In a text he said:

“Don’t forget if you have a straight GF that you trust I will pay you part of her money any time she shoots. But no boyfriends lol.”

He promised the teenage girls, whose families had financial struggles, that they would be compensated.

In a text message he wrote on May 4, 2019, Hooper told Hutchens:

“Be successful tomorrow and find us some new trainees. Once you find them, put me in touch with them or bring them to your place for photos.”

Hooper faces a mandatory minimum of 15 years to life in prison when he’s sentenced on February 9, 2021. Sentences for federal crimes are actually less than the maximum penalties, typically. Hutchens will be sentenced on October 13.

This isn’t the first time he’s been arrested with child porn allegations. Last November in La Plata, Maryland, he was arrested and extradited on December 19, 2019 to Mathews county. He faced state charges.

The sheriff’s office said in a news release:

“The Mathews County Sheriff’s Office would like to acknowledge justice for the victims and their strength and courage to come forward and the many people who cooperated with information which was paramount in ridding this community of a dangerous predator.”

They made a special effort to thank April Edwards, an investigator, and the Department of Homeland Security and United States Attorney’s Office.

The child is currently in counseling.

Zachary Terwilliger, U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of Virginia; Raymond Villanueva, Special Agent in Charge of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s (ICE) Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) Washington, D.C.; L. Mark Barrick, Mathews County Sheriff; Darrell W. Warren, Jr., Gloucester County Sheriff; and Colonel Gary T. Settle, Virginia State Police Superintendent, made the announcement after U.S. District Judge David J. Novak accepted the verdict.
