Founder of BLM and $6 Million Home Owner Blames LAPD For Death of Cousin…Here’s What Cops Say REALLY Happened

By Amber Crawford

On January 3, a cousin of Patrisse Cullors, a co-founder of the Black Lives Matter movement, passed away due to cardiac arrest after being tasered by police officers in Los Angeles. Cullors is now falsely claiming that LAPD officers killed her cousin.

Keenan Anderson, a 31-year-old English teacher and cousin of Cullors caused a car crash last Tuesday on Venice Boulevard in Los Angeles. He then stood in the middle of the road and began “behaving erratically,” according to law enforcement. A traffic officer reported seeing Anderson “running in the middle of the street and exhibiting erratic behavior.”

LAPD officers tried to initiate a DUI investigation at the scene of the crash; however, as more officers arrived on site, Anderson tried to escape and avoid being taken into custody. He began to run away from the police officers who chased him down and reportedly struggled with him for several minutes before tasing him.

He was handcuffed and taken into custody. The Los Angeles Fire Department then “rendered medical aid for deployment of the taser,” according to a statement from the LAPD. Anderson was then transported to a hospital in Santa Monica, where he died.

In an Instagram post made by Cullors, who is a major supporter of the ‘defund the police’ movement, she claimed that Anderson was killed by the police officers, failing to share the entire story. Cullors posted a photo of her cousin and his six-year-old son, writing, “This is my cousin Keenan Anderson. He was killed by LAPD in Venice on January 3rd, 2023. My cousin was an educator and worked with high school-aged children. He was an English teacher.”…
