From “Illegal Alien” To “American”: Biden’s Sanctuary Country

According to ICE’s most recent figures, fewer illegal immigrants are being deported from the US, with over 23,000 of those deportees having criminal convictions. Less than 30,000 illegal immigrants were deported during the fiscal year 2022.

President Joe Biden’s Department of Homeland Security (DHS) issued its annual ICE report as the long weekend drew to a conclusion, demonstrating a welcome drop in interior immigration enforcement compared to previous years. According to data from 2017 to 2019, these cutbacks are large and long overdue.

In spite of the fact that there are between 10 and 20 million illegal immigrants living in the country, just 0.3% of them, or around 28,000 people, were deported by ICE officials last year…
