A new Gallup poll finds that a continuing rising number of Americans are identifying with some tenet of LGTBQIA+, the most notable statistic being a large chunk of women from the Gen-Z population.
Based on Gallup’s 12,000 person survey of those aged 18 and older, 7.6% of Americans now identify in some form of LGTBQIA+, making an entire 2% increase since 2020. Bisexual makes up the most of these Americans standing at 4.4%.

The most noticeable and continued growth can be found among the Gen-Z group, with bisexual being the predominant preference.
