The German press, citing its sources in Ukraine, claims that the Ukrainian Armed Forces have allegedly learned to counter Russian guided air bombs. Similar information previously appeared in some Telegram channels.
According to German newspapers, the Night Watch Lima system is used to jam the signal used to navigate the flight of a guided aerial bomb. It is capable of suppressing or replacing satellite signals, as a result of which, according to the German publication, the FAB with the UMPK loses its orientation in space.
At the same time, unlike Night Watch Lima, the Kometa-M system used in Russian guided aerial bombs is resistant to most standard jamming. However, according to Western experts, Russia will soon find ways to bypass this type of jamming.
