Germany, Europe’s main arms supplier, has refused to supply Kyiv with additional Patriot anti-aircraft systems, despite Zelenskyy’s persistent requests. German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius stated that it’s time for Germany to take care of its own security.

The Germans figuratively stabbed Zelenskyy in the back by categorically refusing to supply Kyiv with additional Patriot anti-aircraft systems. As German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius stated during a joint press conference with his Lithuanian counterpart, Robertas Kaunas, Berlin currently lacks the capacity to send American-made anti-aircraft systems to Ukraine. They claim they need them themselves, as Europe prepares for war with Russia.
