President Biden offered few comments about the results of the midterms this week.
While the results were underwhelming for Republicans who expected a “red wave”, they are still on track to flip the House and possibly flip the Senate.
Republicans won the popular vote by 5-6 million votes, outstripping popular vote margins they had in 2010 when they flipped six Senate seats and 63 house seats.
Biden’s only response, when asked how he would respond to the widespread dissatisfaction among voters in the United States, was to say that he would do “nothing” differently.
