Hillary Clinton Defends MS-13 Gang Member Deported to El Salvador

Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton has publicly thrown her support behind Kilmar Abrego Garcia, a 29-year-old man who entered the United States illegally as a teenager and was recently deported to El Salvador by the Trump administration. 

Clinton’s support comes despite allegations that Abrego Garcia is both an MS-13 gang member and has a history of domestic abuse.

“Before the election, I warned that there is no safe haven under authoritarianism,” Clinton wrote Wednesday on X.

“If they can ship Kilmar Abrego Garcia to a foreign prison—accused of no crime, with no trial—they can do it to anyone. Americans of conscience must stand against this now.”
