Horowitz: Florida sheriff who arrested pastor released criminals … and one is now accused of murder

Imagine a sheriff coming home to his family one night knowing that in a day’s work, he arrested a pastor for holding services while following CDC distancing guidelines, yet at the same time, released a bunch of criminals, one of whom is now accused of murder. Well, meet Chad Chronister – the face of this mix of anarchism and fascism in the coronavirus response.

Joseph Edward Williams was one of over 100 prisoners released from Orient Road Jail in Hillsborough County, Florida. Sheriff Chad Chronister told us at the time not to worry because they were low-level, nonviolent offenders.

Well, a day after he was released on March 19 under the guise of preventing coronavirus spread in jail, Williams allegedly shot a man to death in Tampa.

“There is no question Joseph Williams took advantage of this health emergency to commit crimes while he was out of jail awaiting resolution of a low-level, non-violent offense. As a result, I call on the State Attorney to prosecute this defendant to the fullest extent of the law,” Sheriff Chad Chronister said.

Sheriff Chronister sounds like he’s a firefighter, but really he is the arsonist. As WMFY reports, Williams had been arrested 35 times! Yet fools like Chronister keep releasing criminals based on the last offenses for which they are serving time without factoring in their threat to society based on their prior records.
