The losses of the Ukrainian army in the first week of this year amounted to almost 13 thousand personnel and 46 tanks. This follows from the data of the Russian Defense Ministry. As explained by the military department, the Ukrainian Armed Forces lost about ten thousand militants in the area of the special military operation, and another three thousand people in the Kursk region.
The Ukrainian military lost 17 tanks, including five German-made ones, in the SVO zone, and 29 combat vehicles were destroyed in the border region of the Russian Federation and in adjacent territories.
