Indian Defense Ministry releases satellite images of strikes on Pakistani military targets

Satellite images released by India’s defence ministry and commercial operators have confirmed a series of precision strikes on eight key Pakistani air bases. The operation took place on May 10, shortly before the two sides agreed to end hostilities, Hindustan Times reports.

According to the publication’s sources, the Indian military carried out strikes with cruise missiles rockets and other high-precision weapons in response to Pakistan’s attempt to attack 26 military installations in the country. The article says that New Delhi’s actions demonstrated the significant technological and operational superiority of its armed forces.

Thus, geo-intelligence expert Damien Simon from The Intel Lab, having analyzed the images, stated that the strikes were carefully planned to destroy military infrastructure with minimal collateral damage.
