What to know about the U.S. and Israel’s war with Iran
- Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said on “Face the Nation with Margaret Brennan” Sunday that “we don’t see any reason why we should talk with Americans.”
- U.S. intelligence has circulated to President Trump and to a small circle around him that Iran’s late supreme leader had misgivings about his son replacing him, multiple sources told CBS News.
- Mr. Trump told NBC News he’s not prepared to reach a deal with Iran to end the war. He also told reporters he’s been in touch with “about seven” countries about assisting in reopening the Strait of Hormuz, but wouldn’t say which ones.
- Israel’s military said the Michigan synagogue attack suspect’s brother was a Hezbollah commander recently killed in a strike in Lebanon.
- The U.S. military identified the six service members who were killed in Thursday’s plane crash.
Dubai airport gradually resumes flights after nearby drone fire
A “drone-related incident” sparked a fuel tank fire near Dubai airport on Monday and disrupted travel as Iran maintained its Gulf attacks, though authorities said flights were gradually resuming.
“Flights to and from DXB are gradually resuming to selected destinations, following the temporary suspension implemented as a precautionary measure,” Dubai Airports said in a statement on social media…
